Cancellations:

• In the unfortunate circumstance that you have to cancel your planned stay with us, a 10-day notice is required, except reservations for 4 days or more requires a 14-day notice of cancellation. If we can re-book empty room(s) to a full occupancy status over the entire reserved period, the re-booking proceeds are refunded less a $25.00 service charge. Rain checks are given at the innkeeper’s discretion for non-Saturday stays.
• Cancellation Policy for Blocked Rooms: Unless otherwise agreed to in writing the following terms apply to Events and Blocked Rooms (four or more rooms see below). If you cancel prior to 60 days in advance we will refund your money less a $25 cancellation fee per room. If you cancel within 60 days of your arrival you are responsible for the full amount; however, we try to be as fair as we can. Therefore, if we can re-book empty room(s) to a full occupancy status, the re-booking proceeds are refunded less a $25 service charge per room.

Discounts & Gift Cards:

• Special packages and discounted rates are only applicable at the time of the initial reservation. Discounts and Specials cannot be combined.
• We Do Not Accept BedandBreakfast.com Gift Cards. We accept CABBI and iLoveInns Gift Cards. For other third party gift cards please call the Innkeeper.

Families and Children Welcome:

• Our large facility, with extensive soundproofing and, a variety of room configurations, makes this a great Bed and Breakfast for families. However, most of our guests are couples getting away for some romance and peace; therefore we ask that you be sensitive to their needs regarding the control of your children. Please call if you have any questions as to what would be the best accommodation for your family.

Dog Friendly:

• We are dog friendly in some rooms; however, bringing your dog requires our pre-approval and is subject to our Dog Policy. Please call to inquire.

Wedding Parties:

• If you wish to bring people on-site who are not registered guests you must inform the innkeeper ahead of time and extra charges may apply.

No-Smoking-Campus:

• As a courtesy to staff and guests we operate as a No-Smoking-Campus. Yet, if you must have a smoke please let us know: 1) we will provide you with an ashtray and, 2) we'll suggest a place to smoke down-wind from buildings and other guests. You may not smoke on decks, porches or in the outdoor tubs etc. If you smoke in a room, cleaning costs and lost revenue will be added to your bill.

Deposits:

• One-Night-Stays must be prepaid in full with a credit card or other agreed upon means.
• For stays 2 nights or longer, we require a deposit of one-half (50%) of the reservation total.
• Your balance is due upon checkout. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted.

Blocked Rooms Policy:

• Advance reservations for Blocks of Four or more rooms requires: 1) Deposit 50% in advance with the Balance Due 60 days prior to arrival, 2) failure to pay the Balance Due within 60 days of arrival automatically cancels your reservation pursuant to our Cancellation Policy below, 3) Blocks of Four or more rooms requires the approval of the innkeeper, 4) Blocks of Rooms may be charged an additional &lquot;Displacement Fee&rquot; during peak times (see details below), typically weekends, 5) multiple reservations that add up to a Block of Four or more rooms are subject to this Block of Rooms Policy. If your guest calls to pay with their credit card, and you have paid a deposit, we can refund to your card pro rata and assign them to a room. Please call us at 530-621-0901 so we can discuss your interests and options. Displacement Fee: If you call us we can discuss whether or not the Displacement Fee will apply. If you book a Block of Rooms On-Line we reserve the right to levy the Displacement fee at any time. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, four rooms incurs a displacement fee of 15% and 5% more is added for each additional room. Thus, at 7 rooms the Displacement Fee is 30%.
